/ROLE

/DESCRIPTION

To avoid high cost and to provide safety during exploratory stages, most manufacturers of drugs run simulations of molecular interactions and analyze the movements of atoms (in the context of multiple molecules that they belong to). The main purpose is to detect whether certain events of interest occur – which, in turn, would mean that certain properties of the drug under development are satisfied (or not). For this project's purposes, our event of interest is the formation of a Hydrogen Bond (HB) during the evolution of the chemical compound, and its persistence for a set amount of time. Our project aims to develop a system that will allow users to analyze the simulation datasets and: (1) detect the occurrence of such long-lasting HBs; (2) provide a detailed report to the user; (3) provide a visual representation of the persistent HBs, if they occur within the data set.

/ROLE

As the lead backend developer, I managed a small team of developers in a scrum-style process to meet project milestones. Additionally, I designed the high-level architecture that our backend API would be developed around. I also helped communicate between the frontend and backend to discuss how our systems would interact and change our architecture in accordance to those discussions.

Tome is a solution to the common “Last Mile” problem. Our solution directly addresses the problem of patients and other consumers from traveling between their home and their destination. While many are able to walk a mile from their home to their destination, some might struggle with walking or driving to their location. Our solution is a service that takes automated vehicles to transport the customer from point A to point B.

/ROLE

As the lead developer for Tome, my job was coordinating with junior developers to develop facets of the application. I worked as a Full-Stack developer, working on both the front-end using the Ionic Framework with Angular and the backend API in TypeScript. Part of my job was to work with our robotics team to communicate our back-end server with our vehicles.

Working as a Jr. Developer, I helped develop features for the front-end. I helped to develop a smooth and pleasing UI and UX to make our app stand out in quality from the rest. Along with creating an outstanding UI & UX, I made sure the front-end would securely communicate with our back-end API.

AirMeet is an innovative new app that allows attendants at conferences to find and meet other attendants with ease. It enables event attendants to search for similiar attendants and view information about them on their profile. It also allows for in-app messaging in order to allow attendants to chat online before meeting in person. Futhermore, it includes an interactive map that allows attendants to find others within their vicinity.

/ROLE

As a Jr. Developer, I worked on creating the front-end for the application using Ionic v.3 Framework in Angular. I helped make a user-friend UX and UI design to truly enhance the experience at a conference. My job was also to ensure our front-end was able to effectively communicate with our back-end API.

CyberPatriot is the National Youth Cyber Education Program created by the Air Force Association to inspire K-12 students toward careers in cybersecurity or other science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines critical to our nation's future. At the core of the program is the National Youth Cyber Defense Competition, the nation's largest cyber defense competition that puts high school and middle school students in charge of securing virtual networks.

/ROLE

Starting in 2016, I started learning basic security roles on all systems, including Ubuntu, Debian, Windows, and Windows Server. I also learned about securing networks using Cisco's Packet Tracer.
As an upperclassmen, I became the captain of the JV team and eventually Varsity team. I became the club captain and coordinated with National Orginizations to visit large cybersecurity conferences and competitions.

I helped lead a team of entrepreneurs to first place by creating our business, CyberArmor. CyberArmor is a business that creates clothing with integrated technology using graphene and other technology. Our market is for hospitals, so doctors and nurses can more easily monitor vitals and other important statistics about their patients.
